We keep this simple and honest: we collect only what we need to run Anansi Atlas for you, we don't sell your information, and you can ask us what we hold about you — or ask us to delete it — at any time.
What we collect
- Waitlist & contact forms: your name, organization, email, role, website, and any message you send us.
- Account & platform data: your login email and the organization profile you provide during intake (mission, geography, focus areas, programs). This is the data the platform uses to build your Opportunity Web Snapshot and dashboards.
- Payments: handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. We receive your name, email, and subscription status from Stripe so we can set up your account.
- Analytics: we use Plausible, a privacy-friendly analytics tool that does not use advertising cookies or track you across the web.
How we use it
- To provide the platform: building your Snapshot, matching opportunities to your mission and geography, and showing your dashboards.
- To communicate with you: confirmations, onboarding, walkthrough scheduling, opportunity and deadline alerts, and a short welcome email sequence after you join the waitlist. Every marketing-style email includes a way to opt out — just reply and ask.
- To operate the business: processing subscriptions and responding to your questions.
What we never do
- We never sell your personal information.
- We never share your organization's profile or Snapshot with other clients or third parties, except the service providers below who help us run the platform.
Service providers we rely on
- Render — application and database hosting (United States).
- Stripe — payment processing.
- Plausible — privacy-friendly site analytics.
- Email delivery provider — to send the emails described above.
- AI research services — portions of your organization profile (mission, geography, focus areas) are processed by AI providers to research aligned funders and opportunities for you. We send only what's needed for that research.
Data retention & your rights
We keep your data while your account or waitlist entry is active. Email info@anansiatlas.com to request a copy of your data, correct it, or have it deleted — we'll respond within 30 days.
Cookies
We use a session cookie to keep you signed in to the platform. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Changes
If we make meaningful changes to this policy, we'll update the date above and, for material changes affecting clients, email you.
